The Unthinkable DOES Happen . . .  In 1988, Amber, the seven year old daughter of a police officer, was abducted from her front yard while she was jumping rope! She was never found. And things have been getting worse every year for over 10 years. Pedafiles abound. Over 300 registered sex offenders are released EACH MONTH from state prisons - most are repeat offenders. OVER 1 MILLION children are reported missing / abducted each year OVER a MILLION runaways - each year. In 1995, over 2,300 juveniles A DAY were actually reported missing to the Police and FBI. The total increase in missing children reported since 1982 is over 500%. It is sad, but the reality right now. We have to find ways to protect our families.

. . . And So Does the Thinkable ! The thought of losing a child is a gut-wrenching, shiver-inducing nightmare. And they do it to us all the time. They will drive you nuts. My two-year old took off one afternoon when no one was looking, to go see grandma, and got several blocks before I spotted him headed toward me on my way home! Yes, you know they can be abducted anytime from anywhere - from your front yard, the bus stop, the mall, the practice field. But, it doesn't end there. You also know... They also just wander off - from home, the bus stop, in the mall. They get lost. They can get on the wrong bus. They go home with a new friend. They go exploring without telling you. They get mad and run away (for a short time, or forever). They get in accidents (unknown to you) anywhere.  And they can even fall down a well !
